Confirmation is an exciting time in the lives of our students. Offered every fall for middle school students in a fourteen week Sunday morning class, confirmation challenges students to examine the basics of their faith on a personal level and make a lifelong commitment to Christ. Throughout the Confirmation program, students will meet in Family Groups, consisting of  Adult Leaders, Ex-Cons (11th & 12th grade students), and about 6 to 8 of their peers. 

For those taking the class, both parents and students must attend a mandatory Confirmation Orientation on Sunday, August 12th at 9:30am in the Youth Center. Parents are also encouraged to attend periodic parent classes that coincide with what their student is learning.

There will be a Confirmation Retreat on November 2-4 to Camp Glisson as well as a special service on Sunday, November 11th at 7:00pm.

Students should miss no more than 4 sessions (this includes retreat sessions) in order to be confirmed with their class on November 11th. If your student has to miss a lesson, we encourage you to review the lesson with them at home to keep them on track. Moreover, the Confirmation Retreat is a crucial part of the program and it is important that all youth attend. If your student has a conflict with attending the retreat, please notify me in advance so that we can discuss it.
