In the Bible, Jesus calls us to care for those in need. Through our Missions Ministry, Cannon offers individuals numerous ways to reach out and touch the lives of others in our community and around the world. Close to home we offer opportunities like our It’s Spooky to be Hungry community food drive, our Christmas is for Children gift campaign to collect gifts for needy children, our ongoing support of the Southeast Gwinnett Co-op, a cooperative ministry that provides food and financial assistance to local needy families. During several months of the year we do drives to collect specific items from mittens to baby items, and we contribute financially to the work of other organizations with whom we partner.
Each year we offer international mission trips with our primary emphasis being in Paraguay and Honduras. Through our mission trips we have significantly improved the living conditions for dozens of families. Cannon proudly sponsors three sets of missionaries: Ed and Linda Baker in Central America, Magdy and Amany Bassaly in Egypt and Daniel and Katie Simmons at the University of Georgia. We invite you to join us in changing the world for Jesus by becoming involved in one of Cannon’s mission opportunities.
Cannon Church and its congregation participate in numerous ways to serve those in need. Please Get Involved and not only see how you can change the life of someone else, but see how it will change your life. Click on a mission below to get connected!
