Drop-Off/Pick-Up Policy

All children are required to be walked by an adult to their assigned assembly area upon arrival.

No child will be allowed to exit any part of our facility without the presence of parent or other authorized adult.

Parents are required to sign their child in and out each day.

Wellness Policy

Children who do not feel well should not be sent to Summer Camp. Children with fever, diarrhea, nausea, or other symptoms of contagion will not be admitted.

A child must be fever-free for 24 hours following an illness before re-admittance into program.

Snack and Lunch

A morning snack and an afternoon snack should be brought in daily. Parents will send in a “nutritious bag lunch” with a non-carbonated drink on a daily basis unless lunch is included as part of a scheduled field trip.  For optimum health standards, an insulated bag/box is required.

Rest Time

All kindergarten children will have a rest time. Please send a towel marked with your child’s name to Camp with your child for this purpose. Towels are to be taken home weekly to be laundered and returned. Space does not permit large blankets or sleeping bags.

Medications

All students who need medications administered daily must have a parent bring medication and signed permission forms to the office upon arrival. This includes all prescription medication.

Footwear

All campers must bring closed-toed shoes in their backpacks if they wear open-toed shoes to camp.

Activities

The program is designed to offer a wide variety of activities, which includes recreation, swimming, art, music, visiting performing artists, health/safety professionals, storytellers and field trips to various places of interest in the Atlanta area.   Campers should bring their swimsuit and towel every day to camp (rain or shine, field trip or no field trip).
