Body and Soul

In 1 Corinthians 6:19 the Apostle Paul writes that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit. Our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully made. At Cannon, we want to help you take care of your bodies. Throughout the week, we offer Yoga classes to help you do so. All classes meet in the Angel House behind the church. Classes are taught by Professional Instructors with National certifications and CPR trained.

Monday, Wednesday, & Friday  – 11am
Chair Yoga – great class for seniors, arthritis, fibromyalgia, back pain, limited mobility. You will increase your range of motion, feel stronger, more confident, and relieve body aches, improve strength and balance.
Monday – 6pm
Traditional Hatha Yoga – Beginner-Intermediate with Advanced options.
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday – 9:30am
Hatha Yoga for strength, toning, and flexibility. Beginner to intermediate levels.
 Tuesday & Thursday – 4:30pm
Classical Hatha Yoga. for strength, stability, and flexibility.
 Tuesday – 6pm
Traditional Hatha Yoga – Beginner/Intermediate Level.
Yoga to gain strength, flexibility, body awareness and calmness of mind.
 Thursday – 6pm
Tai Chi Class is now working on the Yang style 24 form set having advanced from the 10 form set.
Saturday – 10am
Traditional Hatha Yoga – Beginner/Intermediate Level.
Yoga to gain strength, flexibility, body awareness and calmness of mind.
